Undefining Moments in McDonald’s All-American Game History
↵Some great, prophetic things have gone down in the McDonald’s game. And in the weekend’s dunk contest, too. Carlos Boozer’s 1999 performance is not one of the defining moments in basketball history. In fact, I can’t imagine any player less suited for a dunk contest than Boozer. I wonder if this had anything to do with him going in the second round, and then double-crossing a blind man and suing Prince. That life of agony and misunderstanding, it all began here.↵
