Pink On The Field Will Definitely Raise Some Awareness

↵
↵The NFL is notorious for fining players who make the slightest deviation from the mandated uniform code. So it’s nice to hear that the league is allowing a few players to break from that even just once for the sake of charity. Even if it does involve pink.
↵
↵This Sunday, Jay Cutler, Greg Olsen and Lance Briggs will be among 100 players who will don pink cleats, sweatbands, towels and gloves during games. Of course, there’s a personal connection with Olsen’s mother being a breast cancer survivor after being diagnosed in 2001. The items will be auctioned off after the game to raise funds for the league’s “A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives” campaign.
↵
↵And good that they will be sold off, because if the league catches them with any more modifications the following week, they’ll be raising money for another charity through fines.
