No. 19 Oklahoma 33. Baylor 7
Norman, OK (Sports Network) – Sam Bradford returned to the field after missing the last three games with a sprained right shoulder joint and threw for 389 yards and a touchdown, as 19th-ranked Oklahoma routed Baylor, 33-7, in a Big 12 matchup.
Bradford, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, who had been out since a season- opening loss to BYU, completed 27-of-49 passes, while Chris Brown rushed for 70 yards on 19 carries and a pair of scores for Oklahoma (3-2, 1-0 Big 12), which rebounded from a 21-20 loss at Miami on October 3.
DeMarco Murray gained 113 yards on the ground on 24 touches and Brandon Caleb had seven catches for 139 yards for the Sooners. Adron Tennell chipped in with a TD catch late in the fourth quarter and Jimmy Stevens converted on all four field goal attempts in the win.
Nick Florence passed for 220 yards on 22-of-41 attempts with a TD and a pick for Baylor (3-2, 0-1), which had won its previous two games coming in. Ernest Smith had six grabs for 71 yards, while Andrew Judy had a scoring catch in defeat.
