Oxford, MS (Sports Network) - Mark Ingram racked up 175 rushing yards and the game’s lone touchdown on 28 carries as third-ranked Alabama downed 20th-ranked Ole Miss, 22-3, in an SEC clash at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Leigh Tiffin added five field goals for the Crimson Tide (6-0, 3-0 SEC), which saw quarterback Greg McElroy go 15-of-34 for 146 yards in the victory.
Jevan Snead was limited to 140 passing yards on 11-of-35 completions for the Rebels (3-2, 1-2), who have dropped two of three. Snead led all Ole Miss rushers with 27 yards while Brandon Bolden caught four passes for 76 yards in defeat.
