Photo: Chiefs Save the Worst For Last

The 0-4 Chiefs found themselves in overtime against the Cowboys. They had the ball. They had home-field advantage. They had the retro uniforms, complete with the outline of the state of Texas on the helmets. The stage was set for a virtuoso display of failure.

↵And surely enough, they delivered. This screenshot is from the last play of the game -- Tony Romo’s 60-yard pass to Miles Austin.

↵From looking at this image, you’d think the play is done. Maurice Leggett is all over him. Nope! Austin shakes him like a bottle of settled ketchup and dashes down the field for the win. Kansas City fans, it’s time to get ready for Royals season. Bad example. I guess it’s time to wait until your dad gets a job transfer.
