Tiger Woods Knows the Power of Revenge

Today, Tiger Woods got his revenge against Y.E. Yang in the Presidents Cup, handily beating the man who bested him at the PGA Championship earlier this season. This match was of course by design, as Jason Sobel shared on his Twitter page Saturday:

↵↵Fred Couples held Tiger Woods until Greg Norman put Y.E. Yang on the board, then told his counterpart: “You knew that match was coming.”

↵↵The funny thing is that this matchup probably wasn’t the best thing for the team; it pitted Woods, easily the U.S.’s best player, against one of the weaker internationals. But this is how things work: Tiger tells Fred Couples he wants his shot at Y.E. Yang. Tiger gets that shot. Tiger dissembles Yang. Everyone goes home happy. (Except, you know, Y.E. Yang.)
