Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo will miss time, possibly up to the next month, due to an ankle injury. Scans confirmed Ronaldo has severely sprained his right ankle while playing for Portugal in their World Cup qualifying win over Hungary.

“After the clinical examination and MRI scan, the player has suffered a recurrence of his injury to his right ankle. The minimum estimated [recovery] time is three to four weeks,” the medical report read.
This does nothing to help doubts over his overall physical well-being heading into the match.
