Sedin Looks to Come Back Sooner Than Expected
“I’ve been told four to six weeks, but I’m shooting for three,” he said after a second x-ray on Friday had revealed that a shot he took off his left skate during the second period of a 7-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday will keep the sniper sidelined. “It’s unfortunate, but I’ve been lucky so far. I’ve played a lot of games over nine years and it was bound to happen.”The Canucks did not have a problem scoring without Sedin against the Stars today but the sooner that Sedin can make it back to the lineup the better off Vancouver will be.
