At the 11:43 mark of the first period in Monday night's game between the Flames and Blackhawks, Calgary led 5-0 and seemed en route to an easy road victory.
Blackhawks Rally From Five Goal Deficit, Beat Flames 6-5 In OT
Then John Madden scored for Chicago just before the end of the period. 5-1.
Then Patrick Kane scored 7 minutes into the second period. 5-2.
Soon after, Dustin Byfuglien and Dave Bolland scored within a minute of each other. 5-4.
Four minutes into the third period, Patrick Sharp equalized the game for the 'Hawks. 5-5.
Overtime we went and a mere twenty-six seconds in, Brent Seabrook won the game for Chicago, completing a six-goal comeback in front of the home crowd.
You should probably let the Flames be tonight. They’re sure to be in a sour mood. Oh and I definitely wouldn’t tell them that was the Blackhawks completed the largest comeback in team history, as you might have imagined.
