Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery could miss the team's Week 6 game against the Bills after aggravating his hamstring injury during last night's loss to the Dolphins, according to Bob Glauber of Newsday.
Cotchery May Miss Week 6
Cotchery had strained his hamstring in practice last Thursday, and was questionable for the team's Monday night tilt against the Dolphins. While the Jets had originally planned on only playing Cotchery on third downs and in the red zone, the injury to WR Brad Smith forced Cotchery onto the field for most of the game, leading him to aggravate his hamstring injury.
The Jet's recent acquisition of Braylon Edwards certainly eases the pressure off of Cotchery. And with the punchless Bills coming up, it would make sense to sit Cotchery out and get him healthy. We'll keep you updated on any news on Cotchery's status.
