Doctors Still Running Tests, Forcier Expected to Practice Tonight

Forcier’s injuries may not have been as severe as his brother believed, considering Forcier was expected to work out with the Wolverines tonight:

Michigan’s team doctors were still conducting some tests Wednesday, and coach Rich Rodriguez said he didn’t know if Forcier had been medically cleared to play.

But Rodriguez has received favorable progress reports on the freshman.

“Talking to the trainers this morning and today, he felt a lot better,” Rodgriguez said before Wednesday’s workout. “We’ll see how he does today. I think [Monday] he felt a lot better. … It’s just with those concussions, no matter how severe it is, you want to be 100 percent sure it’s cleared up.”

Forcier is expected to play Saturday against Delaware State.
