9-Year-Old Already Better At Hockey Than You Are At Anything
↵
↵Wee Oliver Wahlstrom might be a solicitous and kind-hearted sort in everyday life, never forgetting to salute a passerby or retrieve the dropped object of another, but get him on the ice and he’ll tear out your vital organs and dice them with his skate.↵↵The 9-year-old’s savagery was on display during the taping of TD Bank Mini 1-on-1, an in-game video series that will debut Oct. 29 during the first intermission of the Bruins game against the Devils, in which he stops mid-charge during a penalty shot, scoops the puck onto his stick, then whips his body around, slinging the puck past a helpless goalie.↵
↵↵Wahlstrom, who plays on a team for 12-year-olds, then got the phone number of the much older Kerry Pekore. And he isn’t even afraid of buying a car.↵
