If you had the chance to watch last night's Wizards-Cavaliers game, you probably recoiled in horror at one point. That is, if you're a Wizards fan. To the video (injury at 00:30 mark, with comments from Coach Flip Saunders at 2:40):
Antawn Jamison Has ‘Subluxation’ of Shoulder; Will Miss Preseason and Be Evaluated Next Week
Upon further review, the Washington Wizards have determined it's a "subluxation" of the shoulder, and Jamison will be re-evaluated next week. Wizards' beat writer Mike Jones elaborated on the meaning of subluxation, and inadvertently caused every Wizards fan to wince:
Wizards' Jamison suffered "a subluxation of his right shoulder." Meaning it popped out and back in last night in Cleveland.
Another beat writer, Michael Lee, had this to say:
Basically, Jamison's shoulder popped out and popped back in. The team has to wait until the swelling goes down for a diagnosis next week.
Stay tuned for more, but anytime you're talking about human appendages "popping" in-and-out, that's generally a bad sign.
