↵↵This week, the Redskins are set to play their sixth straight winless opponent. According to the Associated Press, this surpasses the 1954 New York Giants as the easiest schedule to begin a season in league history; the ‘54 Giants began the year with five straight winless opponents.
↵↵The odds of starting a season by playing six straight winless opponents are...well, they’re low. If and when head coach Jim Zorn is fired, they should forgo the traditional press conference and simply yank him off the field with a wooden cane. The ventriloquist who follows up his act ought to be able to salvage at least 2 or 3 wins.
