Colt McCoy To Play On Saturday
Despite lingering soreness and swelling in his right thumb after hitting it on Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy’s helmet during Texas’ win in the Red River Shootout last weekend, Texas QB Colt McCoy will reportedly play for the Horns in their upcoming game against Missouri, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
This is certainly great news for the Horns, whose offense has sputtered in the last few weeks, and will reportedly use McCoy more as a runner as they try to get back on track.

McCoy, who threw for only 127 yards and looked out of touch in the first half, sounds as though he’s not overly concerned, but this injury deserves close attention.
