↵Wonder goals in soccer usually come with fantastic displays of athleticism, dazzling moves, or long-range strikes. They do not often involve inflatables. And yet, that’s what happened in a Sunderland-Liverpool game today, when Darren Bent’s shot pinballed off a beach ball thrown onto the pitch by a Liverpool fan and became the deciding goal in a 1-0 Sunderland win. It stunned the observers across the pond, too.↵
