Troy Polamalu is BACK, Baby!

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been missing something these past few weeks… Call it early season rust, call it a Super Bowl hangover, call it whatever you want. They just haven’t looked very good. Enter: POLAMALU, the Samoan safety that was preordained for greatness.

↵

Well, he’s the soul of the Steelers defense, and he returned this afternoon and immediately made his presence felt, intercepting a Derek Anderson pass for the Cleveland Browns, and announcing his return in emphatic fashion. The Steelers capitalized on the turnover with a touchdown, proving that with Polamalu, they’re still the preeminent team in the AFC Central.

↵…And now he’s (possibly) hurt again, as he limped off the field for Pittsburgh, and his return is still up in the air. Oof. Talk about bittersweet.
