This news actually comes later than expected, but Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has pulled Tom Brady out of the game. This is presumably because the game has, for all intents and purposes, already been won, and the weather presents a heightened injury risk.
Brady Replaced At Quarterback By Hoyer
Taking Brady’s place is Brian Hoyer, who is making his NFL debut. No word on whether Brady will return, but it doesn’t seem like a likely or prudent decision.
