After Florida struggled to get out of Arkansas with a win, Alabama takes over as the new number one in the AP poll. Alabama ran all over South Carolina in their 20-6 win while the Gators kicked a last-minute field goal to beat the Razorbacks. Alabama received 39 of the 59 first-place votes while Florida received the other 20. In other large moves in the poll, Georgia Tech moves eight spots to 11th while Virginia Tech drops 11 spots to 15th. Below is the top 25:
