After being outscored 127-26 in the last three weeks (which, of course, includes that 59-0 “football game” against the Patriots on Sunday), Titans’ head coach Jeff Fisher isn’t worried about how toasty his seat may be:
Jeff Fisher Says He Is Not In ‘Survival Mode’
”I am looking forward to this week and I can’t wait to get started tomorrow and working through this week to try and help and improve this football team,’’ Fisher said. “I am not in any kind of survival mode or fearful of my job or concerned about job security whatsoever.
”I am a coach and do the best I can with this football team. I have a good coaching staff. I have tremendous confidence in my coaching staff and tremendous confidence in the players that we’re going to get this turned around.’’
The question is, where does Fisher start? Maybe at the quarterback position, where Vince Young and Kerry Collins combined to complete 2 of 14 passes. Two passes for an impressive -7 total yards. To use Fisher’s expression, the Titans have a lot of turning around to do.
