After sliding all the way down to No. 2 in this week's SB Nation Power Rankings, the Colts could clearly use some help. And they may be getting it this Sunday against the Rams (who they clearly need help in order to beat): Bob Sanders appears likely to play.
Colts Safety Bob Sanders Could Make Season Debut Sunday
Sanders, who you may know from such NFL awards as 2007 Defensive Player of the Year, missed all of training camp and the first five games of this season recovering from offseason knee surgery.
If he does play, he’s expected to be limited until the team sees how his knee responds to live action. Unrelated: Astroturf is great for surgically repaired knees, right?
