Martin Brodeur had a good night in the Big Apple, as his New Jersey Devils took down the New York Rangers 4-2.

Brodeur, who picked up his first regulation win at Madison Square Garden since 2006, was sharp all night, making 29 saves. Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves on 24 shots in the losing effort.
The Rangers did do a good job of staying out of the penalty box, only finding themselves shorthanded once in this game. The only other penalty was a fighting major to Sean Avery, who worked over Mike Mottau in the first period.
Two teams going in the opposite directions right now. The Rangers need to regroup for their game at Montreal Saturday night, and try and find a way to play sixty minutes of solid hockey.\
