Martin Kampmann vs. Rory Markham Rumored for UFC 108
A potential slugfest is currently in the works for UFC 108 as Martin Kampmann (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Rory Markham (16-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) have been targeted for a welterweight contest at the event.
Kampmann lost his last fight to Paul Daley in what was considered by many to be an upset. Kampmann’s once feared striking has turned out to have a lot of holes while his ground game has proven to be very underrated. Markham should be a safe fight that puts Martin back into contention in the division while also being a crowd pleasing affair. It all will come down to if Rory can draw Kampmann into a shootout and catch him with a power shot. It’s a possibility, but not likely.
