University of Florida Still Struggling With This Viral Video Thing

Watch the above, a short video depicting “a day in the life of Tim, one of many successful students at the University of Florida,” and see if you don’t get the twist within twenty seconds.

I suppose it’s showcasing the breadth of the academic and social experience at UF (or something like that), but, really, when Tim Tebow is the most natural actor in your production, you may have a problem of quality, not approach.

Combine this with the disappearing “Thriller” video featuring UF athletes from Monday, and you see a pattern of less-than-impressive viral video execution from the fine university. I suppose I should expect discordant notes: This is also the school that brings Dana Carvey, O.A.R., and the JabbaWockeeZ to its homecoming pep rally.
