Gibbs Latest Ex-Coach To Not Want Redskins Coaching Job

Former Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs has quashed the rumor that a return to the team was a possibility. From Pro Football Talk:

↵↵While we can’t think of any prior circumstance in which Gibbs has spoken with a sporked tongue, it’s hard for us to take at face value anything anyone connected to the game says, thanks to Nick Saban’s “I’m not going to be the Alabama coach” routine from 2006 and Brett Favre’s attempt to shrug off talk of his First Annual Unretirement as merely rumor [...]

↵↵Yes, we have been burned before. As such, there’s no way of knowing who or what will be Jim Zorn’s eventual successor. Joe Gibbs? Mike Shanahan? A 1988 Geo Metro? The pins and needles you feel when you bump your funny bone against a guardrail? Marty Mornhinweg? Ha, I’m just kidding, that last one is too ludicrous to joke about. Right?
