Granted, it’s debatable that Drew Brees’ performance against the Giants in Week 6 was the very best of his career -- his 156.8 passer rating was only his second-best -- but given that he was facing the then-undefeated Giants, there’s a good case to be made.

↵What can’t be debated is that Brees’ numbers so far against the Dolphins in Week 7 are his worst ever. As of this writing (near the end of the second quarter), he’s 6-for-14 for only 56 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. That’s good for a 14.9 rating. Miami deserves plenty of credit for figuring out the Saints’ offense, but what in the w*rld is going on here?
