Cliff Lee, CC Sabathia Likely World Series Game 1 Starters

According to Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman, the pitching probables for the World Series are pretty much set. For the defending World Series champion Phillies:

#phillies rotation plan appears to be lee in 1, 4 and 7 (3 dates with cc), pedro in 2, hamels in 3. 5 and 6 up in air.

And for the Yankees, there are no surprises:

nothing official yet but #yanks leaning toward rotation of 1 thru 7: CC, AJ, Pettitte, CC, AJ, Pettitte, CC.

Game 1 is scheduled for Wednesday night in the Bronx.
