It won’t be until next September when top wide receiver prospect Dez Bryant will be allowed to play college football. Because of that it is highly likely that he’ll enter the 2010 NFL Draft. Should he do so, he could be a top 10 pick.
Dez Bryant to remain suspended; draft entry probable
The NCAA ruled today that Bryant, a junior, has to sit out an entire year for being dishonest about a meeting with Deion Sanders.
Oklahoma State is appealing the decision, but at his news conference today Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy seemed deigned to the fact that Bryant wouldn't rejoin the team.
"I think everybody has given up," Gundy said.
On the season, Bryant had 17 catches for 323 yards and four touchdowns in three games. Last season, he caught 87 passes for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns.
