There have been many tweets throughout the day about the wet weather in NYC today, but the radar appears to suggest that the rain will be coming to an end shortly. (Warning: Meteorology is merely a hobby of mine.):

↵The hourly forecast shows a 10-20% chance of rain the rest of the night, but it doesn’t appear as if there are any more showers moving in behind that system you see moving out in the image above.
↵Fearless blogger/amateur scientist prediction: Game 1 will be played tonight. Although, sadly, I don’t know if I can bring myself to watch a World Series between the two teams I hate the most.
