Sampras And Agassi Face Off (Don’t Mention The Meth!)

If I may briefly interrupt your all-baseball evening, Andre Agassi is again in the news today; fortunately, it’s not for revelations of tooth-damaging drug use during the 1990s. (Which, really, what’s the big deal? I thought all tennis players were hopped up on amphetamines. Infinite Jest told me so.) Instead, it’s for losing to Pete Sampras in an exhibition match in Macau, China. Sampras always had Agassi’s number, but you’d think Agassi, having played professionally so much more recently, would have the post-retirement edge. Apparently not.
