The drive of the game—all but ending any real chance Kentucky had of pulling off the upset—became even more conclusive when Kentucky fumbled on the succeeding drive, giving up an easy TD off the turnover and putting the ’Cats in a deep hole going into the half.

Syracuse and South Florida have combined for five turnovers before the end of the first quarter: two fumbles lost for each, and a pick thrown by Greg Paulus.
