Alabama rolled (get it huh huh?) 99 yards after Mark Ingram was nearly caught in the endzone for a safety, repeatedly throwing into the unoccupied middle of the field before Greg McElroy threw a 3 yard TD to Colin Peek to go up 14-6 on the Wildcats. The drive of the game—all but ending any real chance Kentucky had of pulling off the upset—became even more conclusive when Kentucky fumbled on the succeeding drive, giving up an easy TD off the turnover and putting the ’Cats in a deep hole going into the half.
