Greg Paulus Throws Five of the Most Inspired INTs You Will Ever See

Syracuse and USF got off to their matchup today by turning the ball over five times in the first quarter, but only Syracuse qb Greg Paulus kept the party going by throwing five INTs and counting going into the fourth.

↵This is why games like this are frustrating: having seen bad football for three quarters, you almost want to stick around just to see if Paulus is going to throw six, even when you could be watching better football. Disaster’s sometimes just as gripping as success, especially if you have lingering antipathy toward Greg Paulus for being a Duke basketball player.

(Despite his best efforts, no free throws have been awarded for hard fouls. If they were calling them, terrifying USF DE Jason Pierre-Paul would have fouled out, as he’s been killing Paulus today and caused two of the six picks.)
