First of all, want to know the difference between the North and South?
Boston College, Juggernaut: BC 14, FSU 3
Then flip back-and-forth between the Georgia-LSU and FSU-BC games. Good lord. On one end you’ve got pounding, gray rain and a crowd clad in winter hats and ponchos, and on the other, you’ve got clear blue skies, sunlight beating down between the hedges, and about 100,000 people that are just happier.
That said, the Boston College Eagles are thriving in Chestnut Hill, having just driven 88 yards for a touchdown. David Shinskie, their 25-year old freshman quarterback (he played minor league baseball before returning to the gridiron), is 6-10 for 130 yards and a touchdown thus far, and after a few lackluster performances to start the year, is looking suspiciously competent. Stay tuned.
