You may remember that at this time a few weeks ago, Boston College was in the midst of getting shellacked at Clemson. Our own Spencer Hall wrote this:
Who is David Shinskie?
↵↵BC has 1 first down, two yards of offense, and zero points in the third quarter, and have been as putrescent on offense as a football team can possibly be.
↵↵At that point, as a BC alumnus, I settled in for a long, long season. But what about this David Shinskie guy?
↵
ATL Eagle provided some background before the year began, and now that the 25 year-old freshman has been made the starter at BC, he’s quietly putting together a fairly impressive resume for the Eagles. Including last week and Saturday’s first half vs. Florida State, he’s 28/43, for 416 yards and 5 touchdowns as the starter.
↵And suddenly, amidst a conference full of “putrescent” football, Boston College has emerged as potential dark horse. You heard it heard it here first: the Boston College Eagles are not that putrid, after all.
