Cleveland Browns’ rookie running back James Davis has been put on injured reserve and will be lost for the season. He had a huge preseason and looked like he had a good chance to overtake Jamal Lewis as the starting running back, but now that role has been passed on to Jerome Harrison.
James Davis Out For Season
Before you get up from the computer, go to your team page and see if Jerome Harrison is still there. Jamal Lewis has lost 3 or 4 steps and even if he comes back to start again, Harrison will probably end up splitting carries with him. This is the Browns and they aren’t very good, but it also hard to find a starting running back who also catches balls out the backfield, on the waiver wire.
