Every year at this point in the calendar, parents place a premium on keeping their children safe. After all, your child will be watching football games that he or she has never met -- often unsupervised. Here are some helpful hints for keeping your little pirate safe this October 31.
Important Safety Tips For Afternoon Football Games
Make sure costumes allow for full visibility. Certain get-ups, such as a ghost costume, don't allow for peripheral vision. Make sure your child can see the entire field as Tim Tebow tries to rip up Georgia's defense.
Inspect your child’s football games once he or she gets home. A sad fact in this day and age is that you just can’t trust some games, such as Duke-Virginia. Ensure that wrappers (and recruits) have not been tampered with.
Stay away from Arkansas State-Louisville. Explain to your child that this game is not wearing a costume. It’s just a sad, confused game that wasn’t raised properly, and leave it at that. Help your child TP the house.
