Sanchez Makes a Rookie Mistake, Saints Capitalize: NO 10, NYJ 0

Well, after an early New Orleans field goal gave the Saints the lead, the New York Jets looked to be well on their way to evening the score or taking the lead themselves. That is, until Mark Sanchez threw that red zone interception, which New Orleans’ Darren Sharper—who’s about two years away from becoming “the ageless Darren Sharper”—then took 99 yards the other way for a touchdown.

Take heart, Sanchez fans: with the Saints up 10 and likely to keep scoring, Sanchez and the Jets will have plenty of opportunities to throw the ball and redeem themselves the rest of the way.
