With the Cowboys in command, the only thing Tony Romo could not afford to do was turn it over. And yet, sure enough, Romo failed to pick up on Renaldo Hill’s corner blitz—which came from the complete opposite field—and was blindside by Hill, fumbling the football inside the Dallas 10-yard line, and setting up the Broncos for a an easy score.

Kyle Orton obliged, somehow. Even though he threw a ball that Troy said, “I can’t believe he completed,” somehow Orton’s pass to Knowshon Moreno made it through the arms of Dallas’ Anthony Spencer and into those of Moreno, pulling the Broncos within a field goal of the lead, and giving Moreno, the 12th pick in this year’s NFL draft, his second touchdown of the year.
