That was the headline I had ready for this update. After Knowshon Moreno fumbled on the second half’s first play from scrimmage, it looked as though the Cowboys were about to take control of the game. But the more I watch Tony Romo, the more I become accustomed to disappointment. Hence the proposed headline—I just knew we’d settle for a field goal.
As it turns out, though, even a field goal was ambitious, as Romo instead threw an errant third down pass that Denver’s Champ Bailey quickly scooped for an interception. Drive over, and Romo’s struggles continue.
