If the Chargers want to stay close tonight, they’re going to need to get that vaunted offense moving, because their defense has nothing to offer the cause. After Riivers and company gave the ball up on a quick three-and-out, the Steelers put together another methodical Steelersesque drive, all runs and short passes and an eventual screen pass carried into the end zone by Mewelde Moore. 14-0.

NBC just showed Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera yelling at his defense very loudly. It was pretty intimidating, but I can’t help but think Rivera’s goofy pink-billed hat hurt his cause just a bit.
