Vikings’ Goal Line Defense Holds

The Packers drove 14 plays and 81 yards to the Minnesota 1-yard line. That’s when the Viking D took over. Keeping the Packers’ RBs out on 1st and 2nd down, they stuffed the short pass on third. The Packers decided to go for it, which probably speaks to how afraid they are of Brett at the moment, and Rodgers’ pass in the endzone fell incomplete. Vikings ball at their own one.

The Packers were luck to get a fumble on the drive back. It was a play that was reviewed by the refs and challenged by Packer coach Mike McCarthy. Oh and, yes, you did just hear Jon Gruden say “Mike McCarthy is one of the best challenge coachers of all-time.”
