After last week’s U2 show at Carter-Finley Stadium at NC State, the turf took a serious pounding from the crowds of people shuflling back and forth on their feet trying to determine if it was proper to dance at a U2 show, or better to just stand there singing along and looking kind of awkward. Groundskeepers went to work on the turf double-time, though, and have the grass ready and sparkling for the game against Duke. The universe is safe for the moment, and you may sleep easy in your bed tonight knowing that a lower-tier ACC game will be played on nearly perfect turf this Saturday.
