Hanover’s Passafiume Sets NCAA Receptions Record

Hanover College, in case you are not aware, is a small college in southern Indiana made up of about 1,000 students. Its football team is rests in Division III obscurity. Even so, receiver Daniel Passafiume found a way to make history.

↵Passafiume caught 25 passes on Saturday, setting an all-time NCAA record. To put it in context, though, he accumulated only (ha) 153 receiving yards, which crunches out to a modest 6.1 yards per reception. Still, at least now Hanover College is notable for reasons unrelated to Woody Harrelson.
