↵The first two quotes were from CBS’ Greg Gumbel, and the last one came from a baffled Dan Dierdorf, but all three lines could only come courtesy of the 2009 Washington Redskins. Futility can sometimes be fun--like the Chicago Cubs, for instance--but this is just getting embarrassing for everyone involved.
