Hey, Michelle Wie Won Something!

After generating the sort of golf hype unseen since Tiger Woods’s first professional tournaments, Michelle Wie largely disappointed. She went her entire teen years without winning anything; all of the entreés into men’s tournaments went for naught, and the Wie hype slowly died. You know this story.

↵But today, Wie began to fulfill the promise she’s displayed over the course of all those losses, winning her first professional tournament at the age of 20. By age 30, there will probably be a lot more of these.
