Baseball had Jose Canseco; football had every football player ever; and basketball had LeBron James. (Kidding about that last one. I hope.) Today, golf gets its steroids Patient Zero, a man by the name of Doug Barron. Barron played on the tour for nine years, his best finish (third place) coming at the Byron Nelson Championship in 2008.

The PGA Tour doesn’t disclose what substance Barron tested positive for, merely that he tested positive. So it could be something as innocent as a supplement. Or it could be Bonds-level horse hormone. Regardless, I’ll never trust this era of golfers again. I mean, have you seen Phil Mickelson lately? How did we not know?!
