WEC 46 Fight Announcement: Jamie Varner v. Ben Henderson for the WEC Lightweight Championship
So the cat is officially out of the bag Jan 10 I’m defending my title in sacremento against Ben Henderson
Henderson won the interim title in a fight with Donald Cerrone at WEC 43. It appears that he’s going to attempt to win the real title from Jamie Varner at WEC 46. Varner has been out of action for several months since his last fight, a controversial decision win over Cerrone.
Cerrone will be fighting Ed Ratcliff at WEC 45 and it would appear that the winner of that fight and Varner/Henderson will square off to bring a lot of clarity to the 155 pound division in the WEC.
