As you may have heard, Mississippi’s Chancellor Dan Jones has urged the student body to discontinue their practice of chanting “The South will rise again” after the school’s fight song is played (a chant that is seemingly offensive at best, racist at worst). If the students don’t comply, then Jones will prohibit the school’s band from playing “From Dixie With Love.” Well, the Ku Klux Klan got news of this, and has decided to sit at home quietly, minding its own business. Just kidding: they’re planning to rally on the campus of Ole Miss.

↵↵This decision to ban the song has drawn the attention of the KKK, which plans to protest the ban in full robes Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m, [Shane Tate, the North Mississippi great titan for the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan] said. [...]
“We aren’t coming there to cause problems or cause trouble,” Tate said. “Trouble has already been caused by a handful at Ole Miss, including the black student body president, who wants to shape Ole Miss into yet another liberal sodomite college.”
↵↵So, the KKK will be rallying -- in full robes, mind you -- to protest a chant that, in some people, spurs generations of emotion, on a campus that boasts “the Holy Grail of tailgating sites,“ complete with a contingent upwards of 25,000 strong enjoying pregame libations, and all before a game with No. 10 LSU. I see absolutely no way this ends badly.
