Now You Know Not to Invite Woodland Creatures to Your Turkey Bowl Games

↵With Thanksgiving just two days away, we are on the cusp of the moment when football duffers engage in their one pickup game of the year against friends and family in the hallowed tradition that is the Turkey Bowl. I know you were thinking about shaking things up and maybe inviting a deer to take part, because I don’t know, you’re weird like that. But let me be the first to tell you that you probably shouldn’t -- they play rough.↵↵A 9-year-old boy in Ohio was playing recently in his backyard with his friend when an errant pass rolled down a hill. The boy went to retrieve the ball when he was set upon and trapped against a tree by a deer. Luckily, the friend came to his aid by chasing the deer off when he beat it with a stick. That friend definitely gets first pick as captain on Thursday.↵
